History
In 1988, Nicole Paradis, an entrepreneur and visionary, founded Abeilles Busy Bees and soon became a force in the packaging industry.
Since 2007, Ms. Paradis’s children, Sylvie and Serge Caouette, have taken over management of the company perpetuating the values they inherited to promote harmony and respect for fellow humans and the environment.
The new company leaders met the challenge of leveraging the company’s renown in the printing market as a source of affirmation and springboard into new sectors, including the manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics markets.
Careful listening skills, strong research and development, high productivity, on-time deliveries, compliance with packaging industry quality standards and competitive awards have earned Abeilles Busy Bees a strong reputation among high-profile clients.
Abeilles Busy Bees is readily accessible off the Highway 40 service road in Montreal. Our 42,000 square foot facility includes 20,000 square feet for storage and receiving and shipping operations, with four doors used exclusively by the company. A tightly controlled security system that meets pharmaceutical and food industry standards and a computerized inventory are used to track the comings and goings of people and products, turning Abeilles Busy Bees into a high performance company that is well positioned on the packaging market.
Abeilles Busy Bees provides its hundred or so employees, many of whom have more than 10 years’ experience with the company, with a professional development program that is supported by the Quebec Department of Economic Development, Innovation and Exports, as well as a Emploi-Québec in-house training program, both of which are diploma programs.
